Who would have thought? A New Yorker turned Texan. That’s me!

I moved to Texas at 15, and now I couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home. These days, I live on acreage surrounded by deer, foxes, ducks, and birds—God’s creation! It’s one of the most peaceful environments to write.

God has blessed me with an incredible life, starting with the best husband a woman could ask for (we’re into our third decade together!). Our family is my greatest joy—my amazing grown children, wonderful daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. Those little guys can brighten even the toughest days with their smiles and antics.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me juggling life in our family business, lending a hand at church, or spending quality time with my grown kiddos. But honestly, nothing beats hanging out with my grandsons—they’re my absolute favorite (Sorry, kids).

I grew up in a big, loud family with four brothers and one baby sister. The best set of siblings a girl could have! Being the middle child between brothers taught me to hold my own! It also means I’ve mastered the art of getting ready in record time and can pack for a week with just a carry-on (my husband’s not complaining about that one!).

My journey to becoming a published author has been longer than I imagined, but as always, God’s timing is perfect.

Life has enough twists and turns, so I love writing stories that combine faith, family, and, of course, a happily ever after. Don’t we all love a good romance?
